The Tracking Number is usually on a separate receipt to the payment receipt. With Recorded delivery it's just proof of delivery, as it won't show it's tracking progress like a courier or special delivery.

Thanks, the girl who served me said no tracking number for the way i sent it, i was more bothered it got signed at the other end. Not used to sending stuff in the post, apart from the odd letter :)

Edit: I remember asking her will it get signed for at the other end with the way i sent it, she said "if it gets there" haha, i said your confident arnt you :) she laughed, royal mail eh.

There's no way for us to end a thread in this part of the forums. It needs a moderator to do it.

Is it time to end the thread though? I would have thought it was best to wait until it arrives, so that anyone reading it can see there was a happy ending.

If you are honestly offering I'd happily take that as a backup pc. Mines died and it's taking so long to fix it :(
