More eBay troubles.

If i was the guy I would be like ah whatever heres the nine quid back. I had the same thing happen when a local man picked up some cruddy 40gb ide drive for a tenner, i just refunded him not worth the aggro.
 
What has happened with the original ebay problem? Has it been resolved?

And since when does sending something by recorded delivery not have a tracking number? We are talking the red label here, not special. I get post sent out on a daily basis (second class) from my office and there is always a tracking number.

Don't get why people are getting so ****y over a good deed done by a member of the community? Fair enough there is a trade area of the forums, but this thread was never set out intentionally to receive a hard drive or 'trade' anything. It was just someone wanting to do something for a younger member, grow up.
 
The person who was getting shirty was mistaken, and it has been pointed out to them and they have apologised. They'd simply misread what was going on.
 
Oops, must have missed that post whilst reading through the thread, although I was under the impression there was more than one 'bashing' the OP a bit :D
