Yeah had problems with one of the 4P's last week and was away over the weekend. HFM is flakey as because I run it off my desktop machine at home and my kids/wife are on it all the time crashing and turning it off if it gets a bit slow.

The thought had crossed my mind, but....
I seem to be having a few minor (hopefully) issues with my new 4P rig.
Two of the memory slots for one of the CPU's have failed - which has had an approx 10% drop in performance.
The rig was fine when I got it from BaBa (no complaints from me) and BaBa has been more than helpful in trying to assist with problem solving. The issue arose after I put the motherboard in it's new case.
Until I can get the rig back to it's full potential - any further upgrades have been put on hold.
I have also emailed Supermicro to see if they would be able to repair/replace the CPU socket - if it comes down to it.
If i'm unable to reconcile the issue and the board is irreparable it'll be sold on at a discount and a new board purchased.

if only these sort of things was as cheap as them lot in the USA get them, im sure more people would have them over here!
on the plus side for me, ive just given a new contract at work as my current one was up, pretty much everybody else on my shift at work have been terminated, ive been putting of spending money untill i found out what was happening, now i know i can commence buying again
