Hi all,
Is there any benefit to having more RAM (i.e. 16 or 32gb 1333mhz) compared to faster RAM (8gb 2400mhz)?
This is strictly for a gaming machine which is probably not hitting 8gb usage.
If the only benefit is file caching hard disk in memory, is this still worthwhile on SSDs?
Cheers.

Aim at something like 2133CL10 or even a cheaper 1866 CL9 kit on offer, both usually overclock and you will be able to raise the frequency/tighten the timings, tt very much depends on the price and current availability. What is your current system? Even Ivy Bridge cannot guarantee you that it will hit 2400MHz stable. For a gaming system 8GB is enough you will hit something closer very rarely.
I would sell them all and buy a decent 2133/2400MHz 2x8GB kit.
