so how did you make them ? .... after cooking the Yorkshires, down under the grill? to melt the cheese, all without over-cooking the Yorkshires, looks challenging.

as for the original Morrison 'thing' a hot quiche would be preferable

I have to confess they were shop bought Yorkshires ( laziness was a good part of the snack...lol) Then simply fill with finely grated cheese and a thinly sliced the pepperoni etc and microwave for a few seconds, enough to melt the cheese and not leave the Yorkshires a soggy mess.

I normally make a big batch of yorkshires and freeze them. I use the volume method, so use a cup/container and add flour, eggs, milk into a bowl and add salt and pepper and then put in a preheated tin and cook until golden.

The tin i use makes 8, as i only need 4 i would freeze the 4 cooked ones as they only take about 4 mins to reheat from frozen in the oven.
