Based on the Steampunk novels of the same name. Still a year away, but looks like it might be interesting.

Please have a story and a good script and not just visuals.

Anyone read the books? Just read the wiki and it sounds, well, bizarre.

One thing I would say is I hope when the film releases we get some wide shots and not close ups like the trailer is full of for the action set pieces.

Just saw the teaser trailer for this last night at Tomb Raider, wondered why I hadn't seen anything on the forum about it....missed this thread!

I've been a big fan of Jackson ever since Bad Taste, Braindead, The Frighteners etc so am hoping for something good here

Watched this today and walked in without knowing anything about it. Unexpectedly it was pretty good with some amazing effects and satisfying plot. Highly recommended.

It's pretty good fun actually. Surprisingly action packed throughout, pretty non stop for the 2hrs or whatever it is.

I got an "out of hours" call about 3/4 of the way through it, so I'm going to go back during the week and watch it again, hopefully all the way through.
    Enjoyed the first 3/4!!
