Mortal Kombat (2011)

DAMNIT. Never had a Mortal Kombat game scare me before but I almost wet myself just now, it was around 2am so I was dozing a little bit just moping my way around the Krypt unlocking whatever I came across and this creatures pops up on the screen and screams at me. I'll be keeping my guard up from now on =(

Did you complete with all characters via Tag or Normal ladder?

I took this round a mates house and it was like we had regressed by 15 years, it was brilliant! Neither of us are pro gamers so we went with the refined mashing approach :p

Test Your Luck actually had me in tears of laughter at some points :D *spins wheel* I get upper cut recovery and vampires touch, my mate gets narcoleptic and weakened after me getting the the best end of the luck for 4 rounds in a row. Cue "WTF?!" from him followed by mental uppercuts from me :D "Test you ******* luck, ********............... ok rematch" :D

One question though... how do you access alternative costumes? I've unlocked a couple but can't see how you pick them :confused:

When you're choosing your fighter press Start when you select them. Also make sure you've unlocked them in Nekropolis.

Glad it wasn't just me that nearly went through the wall in shock at that then :)

I was a little gutted last night as we played through the tag ladder in 2up a few times but because my mate was the start player he got the unlocks but as he doesn't a have a save game we never actually got them. Ah well :p
 
Gah, have given up on this for the moment. Just got to Shao Kahn with Liu Kang and after severel bouts of me getting my ass handed to me, I've turned it off in disgust. No characters should be that cheap, even if he is a boss :mad:
 
Is that chapter 9? I did it quite easily. Keep distance and use flying kick/fireball when he stops to laugh or taunt, which he does A LOT.

Repeatedly spam low fireball if you're encountering difficulty and keep your distance, as Liu releases the fireball he will also duck under Kahn's spear. If he throws his hammer be sure to jump over it, the trick is to actually keep your eye on Kahn to see what projectile he is going to throw don't even worry about Liu just keep spamming the low fireball.

Kahn (same with the other bosses) also have like an 'auto-nerf' feature in this game, the more they beat you the more taunting they will do allowing you more oppurtunities to punish them. Don't flying kick him unless you see him taunting cause you could get yourself into trouble. Try the above and you should be just fine.

just constantly spam his bicycle kick and enhanced bicycle kick when its available, he will get a few hits in but you will win

Uppercut, jumping kick and repeat over and over. Simple and works stupidly well against all 3 of them lol. Sheeva's silly jump into the air and land on you move can be avoided but you have to be insanely fast with double tapping the direction keys.

I'm still getting owned by shao khan though... :(
