Im playing through story mode atm and rage quit earlier playing Lui Kang against Shao Khan. Such a cop out imo. Plus I still suck at mk9/Lui Kang.

no your wrong, dont get me wrong i like both games, but you can mash the inputs in marvel as fast as you want, you can do the same in mk. Though if you try that with juggles you wont get very far. Same with marvel when you do more advanced combos.

yeah tell me about it. Ive only played one game online due to it and the lag was awful :mad: if it doesnt get sorted with an update soon the game people are gonna start losing interest....... story mode done, krypt nearly all unlucked, challenged tower almost done.....once they are finished i'll be damned if im going to be playing through the arcade ladder over n over. Laggy online will mean game gets shelved :(
 
They announced a while back that they are working on the netcode, whether they fix it or not remains to be seen just glad I haven't used my online pass.
 
Challenge Tower complete! The only single player trophies I need are to complete Arcade Ladder on Expert without using a continue and 3 of the hidden fights.

Oh and the Master trophies but that will take forever.
 
So I just got word on some leaked DLC, this is official by the way it's actual footage. Would any of you object to me posting it here? Hate that this place doesn't have a spoilers option =(
 
Watched the video of the last challenge tower, and it looked easy :confused:

Guy just spammed jump, crossover punch combo, backflip with scorpion. I'm sure it's harder "for real".

The way Ed Boon went on, I thought it would be some crazy fight-ever-character battle.

It is hard but eventually, if you fail enough times, you get life back after defeating each character.

I completed it with Kratos. Jump punch, uppercut and then spam with arrows. Rinse and repeat.

I had 4 goes trying combos and fighting how I normally would. In the end I just spammed fireballs and the flying kick to keep him away. Won the first time then without really trying. :o

thats what I meant, skarlet's also known as lady in red....
these really arent spoilers though as they confirmed before the game was released

I dont care much for the cyrax/sektor mk3 outfits though but what i would like is the soul captured versions of all the characters - given that their on the disk already
