Borrowed MK from a friend and I am using an arcade stick and OMG, this game requires way too many buttons and awkward combination of buttons on some moves. Make playing on arcade stick very hard.

Is this game meant to be played on a pad?

Apart from this it's not bad at all even thought blocking and buttons like in SF series is 10000% better.

Oh dear, just had my first online game and not impressed. I use the SF4 pad (the one which looks like a SNES controller) and it works wonderfully.

Well I just read the latest Games(tm) magazine and they rated this 5/10.. I am pretty shocked. Just shows personal opinion and all that!

Just finished Story mode on medium and OMG that is one cheap boss! Hugely frustrating and wanted to launch my pad through the TV at times! I haven't had a game do that in years!

Yeap hope they fix the netcode, though haven't actually been able to play online yet. If they get it right I'll be playing lots, otherwise it'll get canned tbh.

Sorry i aint posted ina while, anyways.. dont know if you've heard, but latest news for the MK9 DLC was that Skarlett and Kenshi will be available for DL this wednesday.. as the news goes anyway, Toys'R'us released there new flyer, and it said on there, i imagine heads are gonna roll for that, Considering they were keeping it very secret like - big whoops for them, and a big yay for us?

This schedule is very sketchy as the source of this information didn't post a link to their source, but it seemed solid enough to post seeing as some of these characters have been mentioned as possible DLC and even confirmed in official magazines. So, don't hold your breath - look and be skeptical.

This was already confirmed to be false by the NRS team buddy, I do however have some confirmed DLC news. The Klassic costumes and Klassic fatalities will be released on Tuesday June 7th for a price of $5 so around £3 for us here in the UK. A trailer for the DLC pack is below:

Also:

New character Skarlet will be on display at the upcoming E3 event and a gameplay trailer will be released for her this coming Monday May 30th, no date has been confirmed for her release but she can't be far away if they're releasing her gameplay video.

Annnd thats why the game still needs some tweaking Impressive though, all i can manage is some 28% or so with Nightwolf, not including the Xray attack finish.

Nice combo Zatoichi, my best so far is a 59% x-ray combo (midscreen). It was 61% before the damage tweaks =(

Yeah they've all been reduced slightly and rightly so, especially Kung Laos 80%+ combos.

Huge news here, Rain officially announced as DLC. Free skins packaged along with DLC characters starting with Retro Cyrax and Sektor.

I haven't heard of that problem Acidhouse, I would try entering the pass again see if that helps. Just following up with some DLC news:

Don't know if any of you knew about this or had been following it but Skarlet didn't show up yesterday for EU PSN whilst US PSN and XBL got her, also the Klassic Skin pack was double the price US paid. Basically World War 3 started on the internet and WB released this statement this morning:

"Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, the Mortal Kombat Skarlet DLC will not be available to PSN users in Europe until next week. We apologise for any inconvenience but assure fans that Skarlet and her fatalities are on the way.

To clarify the posted price of the Classic Skins pack on PSN is incorrect and is currently being rectified to £3.19 for UK users and €3.99 for European users.

All users will have access to the compatibility pack and free classic skins - Cyrax and Sektor - once Skarlet is available."

I'll be getting the season pass today. Still loving this game. I hope the forth character is either Tanya or Shinnok.

Also I hope they make the bosses playable further down the road.
