I stopped updating this thread because I thought everybody stopped caring :P Kenshi has been announced for release on July 5th, his gameplay trailer is below and DAMN he looks like a lot of fun:


As for who the 4th character will be, I'm guessing Tanya or Fujin. I really hope they save Shinnok for the next game.
 
I think Ed ruled out Fujin on Twitter.

I don't really want a sequel but a "Super" Mortal Kombat 9 ; Arcade Edition Turbo would be great though :D.
 
Ed's a troll though, he's always doing stuff like that. Point blank denied the Cyborg classic costumes after a youtube leak and look how that turned out :P I still think it will be Tanya, I would like to see Fujin though.

Apparantly NRS are going to see how well these sell and could add even more DLC eventually... heres hoping!!
 
What a complete and utter joke!

Never buying a season pass again without knowing EXACTLY what I'm getting.
 
I think the season pass was a big con... this actually cheapens the game now especially online. ANY Mortal Kombat character would have been better than this. Thats why I chose the 360 version over the ps3 to avoid Kratos.
 
*shakes his head* oh dear. Kratos I didn't mind, he's actually a video game character and I can actually see him fitting into the MK universe. This though... =( As much as I love NRS, this is not going to sit well with a lot of people and I can't blame anybody who is annoyed.
 
I think it's pretty cool to have Freddy. We'll see how he plays, but my only complaint right now is that visually he's modelled after the Krueger from the DAMN REMAKE!

Still, should've been Chuck Norris.
 
I expect him to play just like Baraka.

What a truly awful decision, first off they put him in MK,second off they base it on the re-make.

OH SWEET JESUS, FREDDY!!! Am I the only one that actually thinks this is pretty cool as hell, I mean come on its Freddy KRUEGER for gods sake.

But as stated we have to see how he will pay. and yes Chuck Norris would have been better lol
 
Baraka remodel anyone?

I'm not sure this was the right line of development for me or MK fans - it feels like when Yoda was brought into Soul Calibre - irrelevant.

I'll pass on Freddy - though Rain, Kenshi & Skarlet sound like good purchases if they come down in price a little ;)
 
Whats the verdict on this, is it worth picking up? Only after looking through my games list have I realised I obviously like fighters more than anything else, I bought three new games on Saturday and it didnt register till I got home all three were fighters (Marvel vs Capcom 3, MMA and Dead or Alive 3ds). Been quite taken with the video's of the new character, is it worth £25?

Yea, this def worth a buy if you are in to your fighting games and at the end of the day, you get to kill the person you beat.

Cant put money on that, ya get to beat some guys ass and then tear him appart in to a bloody mess. Great.........real fun for the kids, better than any Disney movie lol :D
