When I first jumped in UO all of those years ago it was a magical experience.
Landing in the outskirts of a town with a paractice weapon, a piece of Ranger Armour and that was it - no Welcome, just get on with it.
Those first few days of exploration were amazing and all I was doing was killing bunnies and the like.
I hope this game can bring back some of that magic.
PK'ers I won't have an issue with.
As in UO they will eventually turn red and be shunned by all major towns.
PK'ing was rife in UO and yet we still managed to have a good time.
Griefing is the only annoying part - making people go grey, forcing them into making mistakes and getting them killed.
I'm not 100% sure if they are "part of the game".
PK'ing and theft (eventually) are intended parts of the game.
Tricking somebody into going grey and getting them killed - I still see this an an exploit of game mechanics.
