I'm sure we can break £300k for the average house price this year if we really try. With median household income in the UK of £35k, the average house only costs over 8x the average household income.

Not too bad, its not as bad here either, average house price was 12-13x average income during 2021 and 2022, but has since come down to 10x
 
Its OK guys, my mortgage isn't up for renewal for another 14 months or so. As long as you get your mortgages in by then the rates won't be **** again.
