Falling mortgage rates have helped to boost confidence among buyers, the lender says.www.bbc.co.uk
I'm sure we can break £300k for the average house price this year if we really try. With median household income in the UK of £35k, the average house only costs over 8x the average household income.
Not too bad, its not as bad here either, average house price was 12-13x average income during 2021 and 2022, but has since come down to 10x
Its a sacrifice I could make!

Hardly spooked, just watch government bond yields. Mortgage rates pretty much follow those up and down.
