How come in mosh pits people get hurt (and i used to quite a lot) but you dont really feel the pain. Is it because its so intense? Is it sort of like on the film 'fight club'

I'd guess it is something to do with Adrenaline?

It's a shame. Having a party like that at a cliff top would be more fun. One could hang out at the foot of said cliff and collect parts for research into genetic disorders.

The linked video contains swearing etc. My timer is set, t-minus ten.....

I really question the human race sometimes, this is one of the reasons.

Also, there are swearies in both links.

Because releasing anger by going in a pit is a far worse way to do it than going on a message board and ranting :p

I don't see what peoples problems are?
You don't get forced into them. You don't get hurt much.
Everyone is there to have a bit of banter.

Cheer up.

Banter ?????? lmao.....
Ranting ??????? OMG rotfl!!!!

Man, stick with the graphics my friend. :p

been in a lot of pits, too some very crazy bands, and yes you do get hurt but no you dont feel it, its because of the adrenaline, did anyone see the thread i made here early morning getting back from a gig,

and i kept on feeling faint from numerous punches to the back of the neck etc.

mosh pits are fun, but some kids find it funny to go OTT and take things way too far.

now "Circle Pits" are a completey different matter. avoid them at all costs.

thats not a mosh pit, thats a wall of death, which are now banned.

Banned how?
LoG still have them...

Also circle pits are weak. It's just a load of people running about...
When I saw trivium it was the entire width of the carling academy. Never saw a single person get hurt.

I'm sure they still do :P
Heafy tried to get one going at newcastle too. But the crowd didn't open up.

My mates seeing them in canada in the next few weeks. I'll see if they still do (LoG). Would be a shame if not. I've not heard anything about it.

Got a link at all?

illegal. how the hell can they be illegal, so hundreds of people get arrested for joining in?

surely people can just join 2 sides then run at each other. what will they make illegal next, the game 'british bulldog' in school?

on a sidenote circles of death and walls of death are fun, just dont fall over or you ******!
