Mosh pit’s???

Can't beat a good bit of moshing! The only disadvantage is the large number of sweaty topless blokes you find in pits, its not nice, no matter how hot it gets keep your shirts on guys!

I have been involved in a couple, but generally just listen to the music, ****** out of my brains :D....

I would like to how people think they are ok to criticise something they wont even try? People need to remember that everyone has they're very own way of having fun ;)
 
If you analyse a moshpit it ends up becoming a bunch of dumbasses just leaping around like loons, however, if you just join in and do it it's a real adrenalin rush and actually good fun, a few beers and the adrenalin numb any knocks you end up with anyway.

If you don't like the stlye of music then you won't get it.

No idea why people are comparing them to raves, they are also good but totally different experiences, also to like one you don't have to dismiss the other.
 
Ha ha, reminds me of when I worked security at a popular music venue in Glasgow. I got to go wading in whenever the moshers got a bit too serious. Got to love being paid to punch the living crap out of rockers, still had to endure the crap music though. :(

And you use your talent to punch people but call the music crap.

Nothing quite like a good mosh. Moving twenty feet in two seconds without your
feet ever touching the ground.
Best one ive ever been to...umm... Supergrass and the arctic monkeys. At a festival
in dublin, i think it was 20,000 people at the thing. I think the mosh pits were like
50 people in each, if anyones heard the song "Moving" by supergrass. You can
probably imagine what the crowd went like during that huge chorus.
The build up of the verses, while the crowd tense muscles, then as soon as he starts
the chorus... You either mosh or get flattened.

If im going to die or get a broken bone, at least ill die or get hurt doing what i love :D

some lad tried to start up a pit to some indie band at leeds, (i forget the name of it) and me and my friends being into metal went in and did our stuff then the guy went for me and i got out of the way and he hit my friend who 'dealt with the situation' :p
was so funny
 
Awesome song to go with the video, only song of theirs I really like. Mosh pits aren't fun the first time you're in one, I can tell you that for free! Check out the devildriver circle pit at download on youtube.. thousands of people in that, it was insane.
