But that was Gavin Carter from Bethesda that said that?

Maybe with mods, but without mods i doubt it.

Its still not true, I have played it on both my PC and my 360, and it looks far better on PC even without mods. Remember this quote is taken from the Xbox website, maybe there was more to the statement that wasn't included.

i played it in high detail on my PC and it didn't maintain 30fps. Might be from the xbox website, but if it wasn't true Bethsoft would have said so.

I did, and you are obscenly ignorant, but you are now wanting to go down the road of trying to get me to personally insult you, and for the sake of the users on this board ignore list you go.

Your the one calling someone ignorant, but then get burned and react like a child, good job :)

This is an interesting article on the 360 Vs PC debate. They seem to think it was running some high end hardware looking slightly better than the 360 version.

I didn't mention gearboxes. The other changes are largely transparent to the driver. The fact is that in 2007 we steer a car with a round wheel just like they did in 1900. The Wii's controller is a complete change from a conventional pad. I disagree that something should be applauded automatically because it is 'innovative'. Sometimes - perhaps most often - the simplest and oldest designs work the best.

The other changes are in no way transparent to the driver. They inherently alter the way you drive. For a start and auto has one less pedal which you so happily pointed as having not changed.
The Wii's controller is not a complete change. You hold it in your hand, you press buttons on it and it affects what happens on the screen. That is exactly the same as any other controller. What it does have is extras in the motion control and pointing functionality.

Like i said, it is like adding automatic transmission or power steering or paddle shifters to the steering wheel and pedals.

Just because something works, it doesn't mean it can't be improved. Pads have changed hugely since the first consoles. Rumble, analogue sticks, triggers, analogue buttons and wireless are the main examples. All new additions and different takes on an old concept of an object that is held in the hand and has buttons on it.

Something that is innovative should certainly be applauded. It doesn't make it good, but innovation is an essential part of expanding any market. Without innovation there would be no games consoles because the market would have disappeared in the late 70's when Atari and the likes let the market get so stagnated that it practically collapsed, until Nintendo came along.

There is also the small fact that the traditional pad has better control alternatives for every single game type that i can thing of bar a platformer.
Racing - Wheel
Flight Sim - Joystick setup
FPS - M&KB
RTS - M&KB
Fighting Game - Arcade Joystick and buttons

That's like saying anyone who isn't homophobic must be Gay, or anyone who isn't black must be a racist...!!!

No it isn't at all, you oink.

Some of you people place far too much importance on the relative merits of games consoles.

Also, can't possibly comment on the rest of the OP's ranting, but Zelda is most certainly an RPG.

Less of the name calling smeg head.

If you defend something which is being unjustly critisiced then that doesn't make you a fanboy. A fanboy in my opinion is someone who is sooo brand loyal that they can't see the faults of the system because thgey have blinkers on.
