Arsey, I was told the email helped, so if I do get it, it will have been the email that probably did get me the job. I know emailing isn't very proffesional, but the boss actually told 'Email me if you want to ask any questions or anything', so I took advantage of that!

But at least now I have a visa that lasts until mid-way through August 2007, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. It's also multiple entry, so I can go visit Hong Kong and come back into China as much as I like. I needed to be specific that I want this as, by default, it's not usually possible.
At the moment, I have about £10 to my name, and that's all. But all these money issues will be sorted out soon and I will be back to my normal rich foreigner self. I just have to sort a few things out with my mother and, of course, get a job.
My 6 weeks of absolute hell are slowly but surely coming to an end. Also, I will not be returning home this year, I will return home, probably, in the summer of 2008. So, I will be here for two years before heading back to England to do my degree and THEN I will come back again, but not teaching.
But that's all in the future. Who knows what can happen.
So, I will be about 27 years old before I can start making some sort of career. It really sucks but the end result will be much better.
Erm... nothing much else to add really. I guess I should update my blog and lay it all out in simple terms so that my friends and family know what's going on.

Nice update Overtone, glad everything seems to be going forward now... Your blog's been a good read and something I'd be particularly interested in doing too! Since I've not been back in ages...
