Most expensive drink you've ever bought in a pub/bar

Used to live on TVR back when i was a student (tequila vodka redbull). Think they were €8 a pop. Most expensive is probably a €10 pint in a puerto banus club.

Course this is all long before people stopped drinking in pubs. It's not the same when you use a shopping trolley to buy your drink

I think Nice is about the most expensive place I've been to for normal drinks; €10+ for 50cl, and that wasn't even in a particularly great bar, just your usual cafe type place.

This relates to drinks that are expensive for what they are. Buying a bottle of Krug would not necessarily count because it's going to be naturally expensive. This is about normal stuff which seems overpriced.

I was just charged £4.50 for a pint of Peroni in The Compass in Rotherhithe. OK, it's a nice pub but I'm off to The Clipper down the road. Sod this.

in rotherhite  oh wow thats a lot for that area

If we're talking over-priced rather than just expensive then probably £5 for a 330ml bottle of Becks at Matter (RIP).
The first and only time I went to Matter, I remember drastically scaling back my drinking budget after discovering their prices. Single and mixer was about £6 too, wasn't it?

You can tell no-one actually drinks there.

oh, thats a point. I got charged about £13 for two pints in prague a few years ago. That was at christmas time, robbed blind:p
When I went to Prague you were lucky to find anywhere charging more than £1.50 for a pint, and that was in the expensive places! How on earth did you manage that?

£7 for a cocktail called a silent but deadly.

It basically has 3/4 different spirits in it, and yet manages to stay clear, Also tastes like stale armpit, with a hint of liquorice

We once bought our friend £30 of the top shelf. He was bigging it up saying he could down pints of guinness in 5 seconds.

I go to the toilet and come back to find saw dust being put on the sofa he was sitting on. Good times .

10 Euros for a small bottle of water. 14 Euros for a small bottle of beer. (both courtesy of bars in Ibiza) - and no - I will never pay those extortionate prices again - now that I have grown up a bit.

£15 for a cocktail in a hotel in Belfast (supposed to be in the top 5 cocktail bars in the world - and yes the cocktail was well worth the money)

Edit....Yes it was The Merchant Hotel.... Loverly cocktails if you are willing to splash out a bit for a proper drink.

£50 for two singapore slings in the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, paying for the novelty I guess. Also paid 22E for 2 bloody mary's at a hotel in Disneyland Paris.
