Most GPU demanding BF4 map ?

Just wondering which online map is the most demanding ?

Also I only have the standard bf4 maps, is there any dlc map packs that are worth downloading ? Or are the standard ones the best ?

Personally ive found siege of shanghai and paracel storm from the base game to be the most demanding. Got premium here and have played all the maps on the expansions.

All the dlc has its good and bad tbh for me Shanghai is the most demanding.

Shanghai kills the CPU, but if you check Afterburner its not stressing the GPU. I find Guillan Peaks to stress the GPU the most.

My cards seem to make less noise (work less) in BF4 than in AC4 or Crysis 3.

Yeah Shanghai is more CPU/API bottlenecked, I'd imagine the naval strike maps are the most GPU heavy.

Paracel Storm is by far the one that brings me the worst performance, particularly late-game during the storm. Wether it's technically more demanding or just poorly optimised, I couldn't say.

It's the only map where I consistently notice stuttering and general sluggishness. I get a solid 60 on every other map with 2700K at 4.6 and my faithful 580 at 875/2200.

'Paracel Storm' is pretty heavy, gets my GTX690 hot compared to the other maps. Really does depend what's going on though.
'Operation Mortar' can be quite demanding at times.

'Siege of Shanghai' seems fine to me.

Paracel is a bit more graphically heavy when the storm kicks up and/or ship runs aground but the rest of the time doesn't seem to really tax my GPU that much.

Most demanding map on the GPU is Guilin Peaks without doubt. Most demanding map for the cpu is probably Siege.

What about Altai Range? I remember it being really stuttery for me on Ultra on my first few games there but not really played on that map much lately.

Nah Altari is not too bad. A big open space with mountains so not too demanding at all.

Metro is one of the least demanding if you're inside.

Got that can max it out apart from AA, although I haven't tried putting that up lol.. and I get like 50-90 fps on the opening level which I'm more then happy with

need to complete it though seems like a decent game !

And I might have to get the delux package for bf4 , which dlc do you get for that ? Can't warrant paying 40 quid for premium as I don't think I'll
Play it enough , too many games to play on and so little time haha !

Matt i was taking the pi$$!!!! To be honest since moving to a 780 I hardly drop below 60fps now but not really tested to see what maps use more than the others!
