isnt this the one with really messed up camera shots and weird camera effects in it?
i nearly watched it, but i was having trouble with my eyes at the time and was told not to.

no matter what people say, i still think the Saw films are very disturbing.

Oldboy, really nasty in a subtler way..
Feed - Very, very disturbing..
as everyone else says irreversible is really messed up

Straw Dogs is supposed to be fairly disturbing, I've never got round to watching it though, somehow it just got added to the ever-expanding list of films to watch when I have time.

Freddy Got Fingered disturbed me, I can't believe they released that tripe although it isn't the worst film of all time, not by a long shot, Cabin Fever is well up there in the worst films ever list though. It is supposedly a horror but I couldn't work up the enthusiasm to care about the characters and the 'killer' was just pathetic.

Miike Takeshi's other well known film Audition is quite scary in parts, but it's not just the gore, the plot is very strong aswell.
Cannibal holocaust, and to a lesser extent Cannibal Ferox spring to mind (although the animals were killed, the locals ate them so it was not in a waste, the animals would have died anyway).
As said irreversible is supposed to be shocking, as is I spit on your grave, though if you are going to try that, try out Last House On the Left.

God we are sick :(

The most disturbing film i've seen isn't even meant to be! Some film called "Plague dogs". Seriously creepy for some reason, should definately have over a PG rating :p Something unsettling about it tbh...

Hostel is pretty down right nasty.
The Hills Have Eye's Remakes is very good as well

However if you dont mind buying rather then just renting & you can play R1 DVD's then I recommend the following just plain depraved/sick movies...

August Undergrounds Mordum
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
Men Behind the Sun
Salo 120 days of Sodom
Murder Set Pieces
Cutting Moments
Aftermath: Genesis

All those are just plain wrong in places & I pretty much turned each one off during sittings as I couldnt stomach it all in one go...some took as many as 4 goes to watch all the way through (Men Behind the Sun & 120 Days of Sodom both have that honour)

If you have a strong stomach & dont mind feeling VERY dirty afterwards then those are the movies for you.
