Most hours clocked up in a game and why?

My old priest on wow had around about 160 days played... I used to play pretty hardcore in vanilla, the fact that I was fresh out of uni and unemployed for a time helped to rack the hours up. Even when I did start working I still raided 6 days a week, my regular day would consist of work 8-5 raid 6-12, some life eh! Needless to say I'm glad these days are long behind me, I'll always have a soft spot for wow, or warcrack as it became known back then..

I spent pretty much 3 years playing Rainbow Six: Raven Shield. What I wouldn't give for a remake with updated graphics with an optimised engine.

Oh yes, same here, 3 years nearly every night. I miss it so much.

I kept at it for 5 years, long after it had all but died :( They really killed that series  I bought it on steam recently and found one adversarial server running but it was on all kinds of bs homemade maps (like anticamper) so i ended up playing coop with a couple of guys on FcUK server for a couple hours :)

What were ur in game nicks? I was BAD-MoRT and oc|choco.

Don't feel too bad about spending the odd 1k - 2k on games when people are doing >10k hours! So glad I never played WOW, wounds scarily addictive.

Ohhh WoW

Well I stopped using xfire before WotLK came out (which I played till the end and then quit before cata for good) xfire states 10k hours, so 10k+whatever I did in wotlk, in my defence a hell of a lot of this time was idling in a city randomly chatting or leaving it logged in to remind myself I was eyeing up an auction that was about to end while doing something else tabbed out. (I was in quite a hardcore raiding guild so I suppose I can't blame idling for everything)

I actually miss it at times, I haven't got anywhere near this amount of time on anything else and I've been WoW clean for 2-3 years :o. Next one is probably something like UT2k3/4 but I doubt thats even 1k
