Most interesting character class in an MMO?

Most interesting and fun for me was a Warrior from WoW. Yes, probably not the choice of most, but the range of what this class could (talking from a pre-TBC standpoint) was immense. I could sit for hours and debate talent specs, work on calculators for the class that would help me find out what is the best items / setups for my Warrior. Also stuff like chatting with the other Warriors in the guild about the rotations they use for tanking and doing damage, what's best to press when and what gives you a second or two extra here and there.

I just loved the class back then :) Not sure what they are like now.

Enchanter in EQ1 (Pre PoP when EQ was still a decent game!). I played most classes in EQ but the enchanter was the most skillful and uber I thought....as a class it really matured into a beast......

Early levels the Enchanter was nothing but level 40+ and the class became almost critical in a group.

The crowd control element of the class made it so powerful to a group/raid. If played well the enchanter could transform a group into a non-stop killing machine.

I remember controlling most of Sol B with one group....argh those were the days :(

I do not think anything will ever come close to how perfect Everquest was as an MMOPRG..(Pre PoP rubbish).....Unfortunatly I only see the current MMORPG playerbase to blame as well - with all this "hold my hand" - "I want to get to the top level in a day" mentality :(
