Ipad and tablets are 100% about there form factor and a "phone" os. whos needs multi tasking or flash or a front facing cam on a media centric device?!

Go on show how with a fold out keyboard, how you hold it like a mag.

Flash works fine, in apps(bbc, youtube). this is done so they can sell more apps.

Multitasking is available in os4, but not really needed. what you going to do read a book and browse the net on a 10" screen?
 
the e reader argument is nice and all, but i love a book and no device will ever replace books.

so you might never see the need to be working in several document programs, 5 internet tabs, listening to music, while chatting over mumble or webcam oh and tethering my netbook to my phone and using its internet when there's no wifi.... all while having a 90% size physical keyboard...iPad says no...
 
If I need to do al that you would use a laptop. They have diffrent uses. One is not a replacement for the other. It depends on your needs

I love your argument because you like holding a real book the device and all other tablets are useless. Since when you could you watch a movie, browse the web or play games on a book.

you cant, but a book has a warmth and a soul that a piece of technology will never have.

na ill keep my netbook thanks, much lighter and more portable.

and no tablets arnt useless, i fully expect to own one in the next year but i am not paying £500 for such a restricted device.

That was my point, Apple phones have always looked good, they have always worked and been simple. Now as someone else said if someone thinks smartphone they think Apple.
