Haha, I was waiting for someone to post that. My girlfriend is Filipino and has eaten it, she actually enjoys it but I refuse to try it.
We're both going there today for 2 weeks and shes determined to make me try it, pretty sure its not happening!

Road kill pheasant, it hit the windscreen of our work van, i shoot pheasants and know how good they taste. Couldnt let it go to waste, at least it was in the shooting season when we hit it.

It's a preserved egg, done so by soaking it in chemicals. It's rumoured that it used to be done using horses urine.

The egg white turns into a brown jelly and the yolk turns into a dark, cloudy mercury looking substance.

It looks disgusting and I was roped into it along with my fianceé when we were visiting the family in Malaysia.

It's one of those things that looks far more disgusting than it actually tastes. It just tasted like runny fried egg egg for the moment I had it in my mouth. I swallowed it quickly to save face and nearly threw up in my mouth more than once.

A really horrible experience.
