MOT Fail

Surely the tester has a good idea it must be frozen jets. All he has done is probably lost a MOT customer next year for being a twit. No point going back is there...lol
 
You can buy washer fluid that protects you down to negative 50 degrees C so just put some of that in there?

I have some in there, the problem is the washers get frozen over.

Is it possible for the pump to freeze up at all as I couldnt hear it.

yep, its actually pretty easy as the pump is outside of the tank often in a unheated part of the inner wing rather then the engine bay. not exactly sure on a s2000 so i can only generalise.

I don't know how this happens.... I drove for a while in Canada and it was -30 some mornings and my washer fluid always came out. Perhaps you didn't flush the system through when you put it in?
