Hear it from the man himself. Masao Furusawa... Direct your attention to his answer to question 5... Actually let me include what he says here. I still think that the M1 is best bike out there
He would say that though!;)

Also can you two please put the toys back in the box.

When Rossi signed for Yamaha, remember he couldn't ride the bike until January, the bike was no where near a front runner, no other rider could develop the bike into a race winner. So Rossi took his people and Jeremy over to Yamaha (you would know this if you read his biography) and was basically told by Yamaha to fix the problem (make a winner out of scrap), which of course they did.

Lorenzo would not of had the chance of winning if it wasn't for the hard work of Rossi and Jeremy. Remember Rossi's first year on the Yamaha? he won the title and Carlos checa finished 7th, if Rossi had the best bike then surely every teammate he's had would have been just as good? but know not only did Carlos Checa suck but Colin Edwards twice WSBK champion as well, only Jorge Lorenzo was able fight ( and win) against Rossi, and why was that? because Rossi shared everything to help the new boy...

The Ducati doesn't really suit Rossi's style but I'm sure he and Jeremy will crack it, providing the Italians listen to them...

Crutchlow was on fire today some really good lap times put in. Pedrosa and Lorenzo picked it up with about 15 minutes left though. Stoner was quite a bit behind over all I think. Rossi right back in 13th!

That's pretty shocking. It's like he's just given up ow and deliberately not even trying. Really hope he just calls it a day with Ducati soon before he tarnishes his fantastic career any more then he already has. Im a huge Rossi fan and its just not nice to see him pottering round at the back.

The Rossi and Jeremy Burgess partnership has worked before and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work at Ducati, except it seems that Ducati are just to stubborn to listen to them to improve the bike or the bike is just so bad it needs to be scrapped and they need to start fresh.

It's a shame that Rossi is lingering at the back but I still believe he can win again and break more records, he is something special on a bike.

Crutchlow was unlucky to miss out on the front row! But Hayden has proved the Ducati can work with a largely different setting to Rossi. The Ducati can't be **** as Stoner won the title on it and they don't forget how to win championships overnight - but neither does Rossi!

Exactly it CAN do it, the difference seems to be the extent in which Rossi is willing to push to do so. He can't feel the limits can he? So is unwilling to push to hard in case of coming off.
I assume all the extra time Haydon has had on it means he is maybe more comfortable on it, and well stoner, he just rings the neck of the thing.
What is the chance of a wet race anyone know? Rossi was 2nd or 3rd fastest Friday when it was wet/damp so there is some hope if it rains.
