MotoGP 2012

It is really impressive the lap times Cal can put in during quals as he can get top for a while. Still has the disadvantage of the tracks being a bit new though? He raced them last season but there isn't that many he had been on prior to that is there?

Seems Ducati may have a new engine to try for Laguna Seca as well. Lowering the torque at bottom end so they can get on the throttle when leaning a bit earlier without the bike understeering or spinning up. This is supposedly one of the issuse with the bike, it has so much power that it is hard to be smooth on it out of corners.

GP was pretty boring but the Moto 3 on the red button was Awesome.

2012 Casey Stoner's last year

Seems like the wife got her way after all!

(Joking) aside, I'm only a little surprised to be honest, he has spent a long time complaining of "arm pump" and he had that break in the season a few years back through illness...

It's a shame for him to go so young.

The problem Yamaha is a certain little mr Lorenzo and his toys again...

Well if he wins the 2012 championship, then fair doo's.. If he doesn't then they need to get the best rider again, and that my friend is Vale46 !

This really is just what MotoGP needs. Stacey Moaner, on a Honda would have been reminicent of Doohan on the NSR500 in the 90's. Completely dominating and thus making the championship a yawnfest..

But as he once said.. What do you expect me to do? Slow down ?

only a yawnfest if you wasnt a doohan fan lol
i was so found it great

MotoGP needs two riders ding donging at the front for its fan base. Rossi & Lorenzo fit the bill perfectly. You know, if Lorenzo doesn't win the championship, I'm sure has no real commitment to Yamaha. A move to Honda perhaps? Depends on Pedrosa this yr. Repsol demand one Spanish rider.. Not two... Also Spies, he's not become the wonder child that Yamaha had hoped. So he could be pushed aside to allow Rossi back onto the M1.

All this is presuming that Rossi hasn't lost what it takes. I think he's still passionate about Motorcycle racing.. I think he loves being the best and this yr is just completely frustrated at what Ducati have handed him. He and Burgess can only do so much..

Rossi was third fastest today in the warm up, it looks to be a wet race and he was on fire at times today so still has what it takes.

Crutchlow
Stoner
Rossi
Lorenzo
I think was the running. Crutchlow was quite late out to warm up and he did fast lap after fast lap and was knocking huge chunks off it, was -.05xx last lap and then got held up by Abraham! Going to be a cracker by the looks of it.
