MotoGP 2013

just read this on Toby Moodys twitter
"5 races, 6 quals in and HRC still on two engines used. Yamaha on four. One w/drawn for each. 33% into a season and Yam used 80% of engines."

this year there only aloud 5 engines for the year, not looking good for yamaha

I'm fairly sure it would have been planned out months back, each team working out how best to map out the season.

I`d say no because, you don't give them 5 engines at the start and they lock them, so if they find a fault or an upgrade they can do it for there remaining engines, now they having used 4 engines they can only modify the remaining one which limits them.

Yeah shame about CAL think he went in hot like the others on that corner. Will give the race a 6/10 from a spectator point of view. Well done to Smith a nice ride from him he seems to settling in a little better now but is still far off the pace i would expect more from a rookie on the the Tech 3 though.

I dont know if its me, but these days they all seem to be going on about tyres in the past im sure they lasted longer and gave more grip.

(cant stand lorrenzo tbh dull as dishwater, but hats off to him for sharing his podium with his down syndrome friend. (cool helmet she made as well)

I have been watching races since the 70's and they have always moaned about the tyres.
smith is doing good, remember he's on a bike made up of all the old spares and if it wasn't for MM we would be saying smith is doing great as a rookie, he beat dovi in a fair fight yesterday.

today will be interesting with the tests, Suzuki testing with the others, just a pity its with the crasher DE PUNIET, I really cant see them learning anything with him
pic of there new test colours, does look good

todays test times
Suzuki did really well all things coincided, but they really need a better rider to see its true potential as ESPARGARO on his CRT was faster.
smith time was done in the morning as he didn't do the full test as he went to hospital to have his finger op

If he has a plate put in then he'll have all the strength he had before the break and could be back in a week. Let's hope it's not as bad as when Dani broke his, and had to take to a long time off.

Either way he's lost this championship, but he was overdue a non-finish (or non-start in this case) compared to the rest of his rivals.

he's going to try to race tomorrow
