I really hope Pedrosa gets into a groove quickly next season and puts in a consistent title challenge. I don't think anyone would begrudge him a shot at the title. I think this season was possibly the first where he's been properly fit more often than injured?

If it quacks like a duck, and waddles like a duck, then its a duck !

Rossi is correct is accusing Marquez. Today was the final nail in proof. As Rossi said himself, it was an embarrassment to the sport.

Rossi is now a sad bitter and twisted racer unable to repeat the success he had in the past.

Retire now Rossi and at least go with what's left of your dignity.

I must admit i felt a bit sorry for rossi in the end (supported him from the 125cc class), he rode a good race and was never going to get better than 4th starting from the back in a dry race. Saying that, i'm not sure he'd have had the pace to get better than 4th even if he was starting from the front row.

I said early in the thread that if Rossi ended the day champion, he'd deserve it, even after the mess last time out. But Lorenzo, has been the fastest rider this year no question. He won in the end and I believe he deserved the championship just as much as Rossi, for his speed. Rossi was consistant, but never really looked like winning in the dry races most of the year unless there was issues such as tyre wear problems, he just never really had the speed all year. Bit like when Haydn won the championship, and only won 1 race.

I can see why Rossi feels the way he does, not so much the Australia round to be honest, but the last two. However, to come out and say what he has, knowing how much power he has over the media and fans is totally uncalled for. Rossi is so big that he can end a riders career and reputation using the media, just look at everybody he has ever ridden against, anybody that was a real threat to him has been worked over and are generally not liked by the majority of the fans.

He doesn't know for sure whether MM was on the limit the entire race and had nothing left. Or waiting for a last lap move, but then got held up by Dani, etc. At the end of the day MM and Dani, were both much faster than Rossi in the race (granted he had to pass all the other riders, but that shouldb't be a massive challenge for the top 4), so how can he say they weren't riding to there limit? I also feel Rossi's overtakes were just as hard as Marc's in Sepang, and he should have just dealt with it better.

I'm disappointed Rossi didn't just accept that he'd lost this time, instead of blaming everything on Marc. Marc isn't the reason you were not fast enough all year to qualify as well as you should have been. When your qualifying on the 2nd and 3rd row for more than half the races, it isn't normal to be champion at the end of the year.

I also don't argee with all the people saying that the sport has been tornished, etc. There are so many more people interested in motogp the last few weeks. No doubt most will want to see what happens next year, between Rossi/Marc/Lorenzo

I don't see why he should. He's shown he's a title contender. He's every bit as fast and actually more consistent as the other three.

Perhaps he's not the fastest lap setter in qualifying, but he's never been Mr Pole !

However he's always been clean. Always battled, always enjoyed the battles and always been passionate. Not to mention 90% of the fans love him. Making the sport that ever more popular. (more so now after MM's antics and JL being such a unlikeable whiner)

Marquez on the other hand, spat his dummy out on the first yr where he struggled. Became vindictive & spiteful and not to be trusted by his team or sponsors. The way a Honda rider protected a Yamaha rider in yesterday's race, is something we've not seen before. Rossi's been around long enough to know the game inside out. Called him out. Which did allow things to snowball. But you know what? Rossi's at his best when he hates his opponent. I think this will all work in his favor for 2016.

MM93 will buckle now he's got fag pics being posted every race, losing fans by the droves and being boo'd at every race. I personally think this was the biggest mistake of his career, and the fact that bodyguarded Lorenzo in the season finale, shows he's quite content to deny Rossi that 10th.

However i do not think for one minute, Lorenzo will return the reach around for MM, if he's personally struggling and its VR vs MM in 2016. Likewise Dani is in for the win. Selfish is he.. He's happily take the help, but he won't repay it. Actually now 2015 is over and done with. You'll probably find he'll want to distance himself from MM93 as much as possible.

So MM what exactly have you achieved? Yes you won by denying VR the strong possibility of getting the 10th, but overall you're the loser. We all had respect for you. We all had you down as the 'chosen' one to replace Rossi, in 2017. But now you'll just be boo'd and hissed at, until you break under pressure. You can already see it in his face, that he's not enjoying it. Not one bit... and it's only going to get worse.. If he was boo'd that loudly at his 'home' race, imagine what's going to go down at other circuits.

I've got back from Valencia this morning! WOW It's the first MotoGP I've been to in person and It didn't disappoint well other than the result. The whole atmosphere around the place was electric and every time Rossi passed the place erupted.

After watching the MM and Lorenzo and then Pedrosa in the closing stages being held back for my ruined it a little. It was clear MM had the pace in the bike but there are so many if buts and maybes we will never know.

MM and Lorenzo also had a lot of boo's from all the spectators, if that doesn't say anything nothing will about peoples opinions.

I'll see if I can upload some pictures shortly.

At their home race too... Not very good. Could you imagine everyone booing Barry Sheene at a UK race???????????????. No nor could I.

Sums up what the fans are feeling at the moment.

As Rossi put it "it was a Spanish Stitch-up"

If Honda can see in the data that Marquez was actually holding back, then they will not like it one bit...

The single ECU that is coming in this year, is that the same unit that Ducati have used all this year?

It'll be interested to see whether the ECU and tyre changes mixes things up a little bit at the front. Hopefully it'll bring Ducati a little bit closer, and Suzuki once they get there new gearbox working.

When you look at that final table, you realise how well Pedrosa did considering he almost had to retire after the first race. Would love to see him win the championship next year.

Lasty 4 or 5 races he was probably in the best form he's ever been in. I don't think he's ever had a full season were he's been 100% fit. It's thought that the last 2-3 years he's had this issue with his arms that messed up the start of his year. Looks like it might be sorted now. So if next years Honda is good and he can stay fit, I wouldn't be surprised to see him challenging.
