I don't see it as "MM back for sure", more like he has never been away. I am not sure we are seeing real season performance from Honda, or MM at COTA, as this is their track and was expected. What is more interesting is how much closer the m1's are to MM, and of course the Duc's. Warm-up will tell us more no doubt, but I don't see MM having the dominance he did all last year, but he should win this one with relative ease, if he does not, then there would be serious question marks over the Honda.

Pedrosa is scheduled in for a return after Argentina, but there are doubts that he will make it back at all. His latest surgery was pretty much last chance saloon if you believe what you hear. I do agree that Aoyama isn't getting the best out of the bike, and we should expect better. I think in hindsight, it would have been better to give Casey a run on it. I don't think he would have been as fast as the other "alien's" initially, but would have been upto speed a bit better than HA. Will be interesting to see if CS is offered the seat if Dani does not make it back? I doubt it would happen, but you never know. What an epic season it would be if it did happen.

I agree completely with you, and think that MM would beat him pretty much everywhere (except PI). The thing with crash.net is there are too many fanboys who really don't accept the truth. I am a VR fan and always have been, but I even wonder how Rossi would have fared in his prime against MM. I don't think MM would have beaten him all the time, but I do think VR would have won a lot less.

I just think CS coming back would have made for an even better spectacle. Not that Moto GP needs it though, right now it is really exciting and beats F1 hands down in every dept.
 
Well done Danny! Starting to show the ability everyone was raving about a few years back. Gotta love a Brit on the top step.....How much did he smash that lot by!
