MotoGP 2020

A fantastic and well deserved result for Quatararo.

I was in awe at Marquez saving that first crash but wasn't at all surprised when he binned it later on. I really hope he's back to full strength soon though I can't see it happening. Whilst it's no fun seeing one rider dominate a season the championship needs Marquez on it.

Marc needs to be very careful. If he comes back too soon then he won’t be able to push, but won’t be able to stop himself. He could really cause long term damage by falling again. He needs his father, manager and team boss to all stop him before he’s ready. He has nothing to prove really.

Great race as was the Moto3 race. That "crash" that Marquez saved on turn 4 was incredible, not sure anyone else saves that, his reaction time is just insane. No surprise he binned it though, coming from 18th to 3rd will have cooked his tyres and he just couldn't resist trying to get 2nd place. You can't push that hard and expect to have any tyre left with 4 laps to go. Unlucky how the front wheel broke his arm, lets hope there isn't any radial nerve damage, the fact it was mentioned makes you wonder if he's having problems moving his fingers or with touch sensitivity.

Lorenzo like ride from Quatararo, he is so smooth on that bike and great he's finally got that monkey off his back. I can see him making it a double next Sunday.

Marc is simply from another world, the save alone was unbelievable never mind him making the rest of the field look like Moto2 as he came storming through. Hope he recovers to 100%.

Happy for FQ and his first win, KTM look quite promising. Binder had amazing pace for a Rookie, feels like there's a changing of the guard in MotoGP happening right now.

There's rumours that Marc Marquez is going to race this weekend. What the actual ....? The man is a lunatic! Well, I knew that already but to even consider racing doesn't seems like madness to me.

Wow I thought you were having me on, just checked. Apparently will undergo a fitness test at 1pm today.. the guy is an absolute nutcase.

I do fear he will cut his career short one day, hope to see him race for many years yet.

I thought someone has having a laugh when I read it but this is MM93 we're talking about so it didn't come as much of a surprise to find there's truth in the story.

Agreed, he's risking his career to get back on the bike so soon. I can understand that he's ultra competative but this seems like borderline stupidity.

Agreed. He’s 27 and has already won 6 world championships. He has no real need to risk his career and potentially his arm by coming back. He could miss this season, come back properly fit and still race for another five or six years and get ten titles. He’s being very stupid and I hope he gets denied by the medical team.

I'd be amazed if he finished the race, let alone in the points. He made most people look like amateurs last race, except for the two times he made the mistakes, but that recovery, when it lasted, was epic - I soo much wanted him to win I wrecked my voice for the day when he binned it..

3 riders break wrist, shoulder and arm. All getting on MotoGP bikes again less than a week later. These guys holy ****!!

Moto3\2\GP are Alpha men :)

But being passed as fit is one thing.
It's being race ready that counts.

I think even getting back on a bike so soon after that accident is super human.

Indeed, doesn't help that the Honda appears to be the most physical bike to ride on the grid. Cal is struggling with a scaphoid injury, Lorenzo struggled for an entire year even when fit, remarkable MM was only a second slower 6 days after breaking his humerus.

I'm glad he's not forcing it tomorrow, just not worth it.

Brad Binder looks like he'll be joining the ranks FQ & MM in the coming years as a championship challenger. Insane pace for a rookie on the KTM.
