Motoring pet hates

People who can't park.
People who don't understand how the lanes work on the motorway.
Slow drivers.
People who can see a junction is perfectly clear for miles but insist on stopping then pulling away again straight away.

People in non premium vehicles getting in everyones way. You have a Focus 1.6, please, get out of the outside lane and stop holding me up.

People who move their car deliberatley closer to the centre line in traffic on a 2 lane road, to block you from filtering past on your motorbike.

The main one for me is lack of indicating at roundabouts. Very annoying having to stop dead because they couldn't be bothered to use them and they just carry on in their dream world.

Typical BMW driver thing to say :p

People who accelerate as you are clearly overtaking them......

ZOMG I HATE THAT SO MUCH

Well it depends on the circumstances again. There's a particular stretch of road leading up to the M32 in Bristol which is a 30 limit, and this turns into a 60 limit once you hit the motorway. Most people drive at about 40 or 50 in this 30 zone (as they should because it being 30 there is ridiculous, but I digress), but being all prim and proper, I stick to 30 until I pass the 60 sign. I'm paranoid about some policeman pointing a radar gun at the traffic from atop that bridge. If someone happens to be overtaking me at that moment, then yes of course I'll be accelerating. What I find annoying is when someone passes me in the 30 and then I have to overtake them in the 60 because they're doing 50.

don't you make this joke every month? ;)

People who don't indicate coming off a roundabout, so I'm sat there waiting giving way because to me they are going to carry on going around.

Those who think they are driving LGV's when turning left

Those who don't use the crown of the road when turning right.

Those who when at traffic lights, indicate right only when the lights change.

Those who do not look ahead and see hazzards before they get to them.

Oh, and those who do not know the width of their vehicle when negociating width restrictions and parked vehicles. Should be part of the test.

Not everyone who trains to be a commercial pilot will make it. Somewhere along the way a percentage will be told, "You're not good enough". Yet everybody, in the end, gets a driving licence.

Uninsured drivers, if we all have to pay then surely everyone should do it.

When I'm coming out of work it can sometimes take ages for someone to slow down and let me turn out onto the road, I mean it would only slow their journey time down by 10 seconds.

However, I'm not a perfect driver, I've only driven for 2 months with my own car. I find town driving quite difficult - like knowing which lane to be in as there can be multipul roundabouts and turnings everywhere. I find rural roads much easier to drive around.

Mine has got to be people who do not bother indicating, especially when on the motorway and you see someone who is speeding past and then suddenly cuts right infront of you causing you to slam the brakes on and of course, they never indicated either.

Another new one which reminds me of what happened last night, was waiting at a T junction and the last car that came and turned into to where I was waiting turning out of, the driver finds it amusing that I am the one having to wait at the junction and he has the right of way first. He looked at me, smirked and laughed just as he turned into the road. Complete plonker.

Also people who think that it's ok to cut you up on a big roundabout without realising that there is a car behind them because they want to quickly turn off at the exit that they were heading for and without indicating either.

Oh yeah and lastly, people who turn into roads and cut right into the opposite side of the road first instead of going around the T junction give way painted in the middle of T junctions.
