It would have to be seriously entertaining and action packed to warrant a 100mb filesize imo.

Wont be 10mins as I only have 3 hours of footage on HDV more like 3-5mins then have 2 more hours on DV so 2-4 mins.

Video will be in 2 parts though :)

I simply wouldnt bother downloading it at 100MB file size, unless a lot of people here posted saying how good it was. Not everywhere can receive fast connections, this house' lines will do 512kbit maximum for example.

Even downloading at 55KB/s a 100MB file would take no more than 30 minutes

(unless I did something horribly wrong when I worked that and have managed to make a tit of myself :p)

Yeah but I'd still be peeved having spent half an hour downloading 100mb of boring driving.

Its 25fps but 50 half frames second IIRC
Yea, 50hz.

The resolution is DAMN impressive though. Does it have a progressive scan option on there? 720P?

May be better to film in 720P for fast paced stuff. Have a play around in both modes.

I can do 50hz and also 60hz and captures full res then edit on PC so can do any thing lower if I want.

There may be a noticable difference if recording in 720p compared to 1080i.

I wouldnt know as havnt ever tried but in the states all of the sport is recorded and broadcast in 720p as there are no interlacing artifacts.

If you have a play let me know, I dont think re-encoding to 720p has the same effect as recording in it.
