Looks like a damp/greasy road with tyre squeal at the end? Looks too fast, and dodgy to me. I am aware cameras can distort speed though, but you don't get squeal doing 30mph round a 'twisty'

It didn't sound like tyre squeal to me, sounded more like some kind of mechanical grinding.

Squeaks will probably be down to running on R888s? ;)

I've had squeaks when turning corners before due to either crap types or just the road surface.

It was a bit of tyre squeel on the video, but the LSD does funny things sometimes if the road surface is a bit odd, doesn't happen often but makes you look like a total hooligan.

I wish I was able to take it to a track on a whim on a Friday afternoon, alas that will have to wait for another time and the road will suffice for now for camera testing :p

I'm just glad I chopped out the bit before where I flicked the V's at a bus of nuns and orphans!

Very much so. Like someone else just said he is going too fast down a country lane and that is tyre squeals just before he hits the breaks (and just before that car passes in the other direction). I don't care what you, or others, say - it's bad/dangerous driving. Just because he came out of it unscathed with a lame video to post on a forum, doesn't make it a smart/impressive thing to do.

If he wants to be a complete **** on the road, shouldn't mean others have to be put at risk.

A video like that does not tell much of a story. I've had tyres squeal at 10 mph in a Tesco cat park due to the surface of the road. I doubt the driver is going much over 60 if he is at all. If you're bothered, it is possible to work out speed by the frame rate and knowing the length of road etc. In fact the police have done this and used it as evidence in court from what an ex police driver told me.

There was no sign of lack of control or ability on that video whatsoever. Just "what ifs". I've seen videos of and witnessed first hand people crossing double white lines, driving round blind bends on the wrong side of the road, overtaking on bikes when there's clearly something on coming and even had it happen to me when I was out on a "hoon". There's taking a risk, and there's taking the ****. You're in a forum of car enthusiasts who enjoy their cars in much the same way as the OP. I'd say it was far more dangerous driving down the M6 with plenty of blind idiots with no lane discipline than facing someone coming the other way on a country road at ~80mph who is a confident and capable driver driving a capable machine.

There is a time and place. I'd rather it was on a quieter back road than on the 30mph main road I live on. I drive 30 on my road, hundreds of cars a day don't. This argument could go on because everyone think different, but THAT video in question. Harmless.

No insults! you have no idea what speed he is going, and as someone else stated, LSD will result in tyre squeal at odd times by its very nature.

Looks like a calm, slightly spirited (and probably barely even, if at all, breaking the presumably NSL) drive.

Are you basing your entirely argument (that he was driving dangerously) on that bit of tyre squeal? :D

I've had tyre squeal at 20mph going round some corners in FWD cars, and they haven't been sharp corners or anything. It can easily happen. TriedandTested. Shush. ;)
