Motors YouTube Videos

I remember my first German company car. I’d made it and was the boss of the world. Might have gotten a BO55 number plate too if there was such a thing.

I also had a BRAND NEW Mk3 Cavalier 1.6L in full jewish racing gold…..with a car phone.

Playa me.

If anyone is into fabrication and older car projects, a friend of mine has just started a new project and decided to document it on YouTube:

Some may be familiar with on of his other builds which images frequent Instagram (309 GTi - honda powered).

He's also got a pretty mental 205 powered by a turbo'd K20 engine

Seems a bit of a waste as he certainly won't be going off road in it, but to each his own.

Annoyingly I can't remember which it is, think an Mitsubishi L200, but I know someone with a pickup who has spent 1000s and a lot of time on it, lifted, massive off-road tyres, snorkel kit, etc. etc. only uses it for the school run - but I kind of get it. I do quite like having a vehicle which is "ready for anything".

EDIT: According to a post I made before it is a Ford Ranger but for some reason I'm blanking mentally on what it actually is, but probably a Ranger if that is what I said before.

He doesn't go as far as modding anything, but does prefer his cars to be more rugged 4x4 than just "SUV". He had a Ford Ranger, then a Toureg (too "car like" apparently), then the Shogun Sport (which I think is essentially an L200 with a full passenger cabin/boot instead of a pickup bed) and now the Landcruiser. He freely admits he has no real need - no kids, no dogs to ferry about, nothing to tow, no need to go any further off road than the pavement - he just likes that type of vehicle. He keeps his cars in top condition; his Shogun looked brand-new, and he was out cleaning it the day before he took it back to trade in for the Toyota. Seems a bit of a waste to me, but it's what he likes.

Skim listened, load of rubbish, perfect example of a little knowledge is dangerous.
I didn't get a chance to watch the entire episode but the couple of minutes I managed the guy he was interviewing appeared to make sense. Why do you think it was rubbish? Just curious as personally I have seen difference in mpg using V-Power diesel in my Mk4 Mondeo.

Man jailed for causing a serious collision in Runcorn | Cheshire Constabulary

What I don't get is why they dont just calculate the speed. They literally have a dashcam on a car doing 55mph, and video of the distance the speeding car covers.

Wildly different numbers of between 102mph to 136mph, makes the evidence seem uncertain.

Car pulling out into its path with no signal though. Appreciate that the speeding trumps that, but it is partly responsible.

It's not that simple, the speeds need to be measured with calibrated equipment.

But they were willing to present evidence based on tyre marks and an experts view on what it looked like it was doing. Both wildly different.

Harry drives a GR86.

A fairly praiseworthy review. I am sure anyone who owns one of these must be very happy with it, as well as being smart and handsome.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Just watched the video clip, looked very like the guy pulled in front on purpose, doing a "you shall not pass, im upholding the law and making you slow down" kind of maneuver. He didnt drift across, it was a sudden move and with nothing else on the road and rigth turn up ahead that I can see. If the Ferrari had been doing only 80 they would have probably thrown the book at the other guy.

Actually looking at it again, there is a road joining on the left, im guessing the fezza saw a car about to join from the left and moved into the right lane..... maybe.... and again, didnt even bother checking the mirrors, thus causing the accident either way.
