It's a combination of wild camshafts and fuelling - you can get them to idle completely smoothly, if you want. Some people end up with it by mistake, through poor fuelling (incorrect idle adjustments, which leads to the revs rising and falling as the engine goes from rich to lean) and others do it intentionally.

Commonly referred to as 'Detroit roll' :D
 
No matter what you say, that Mulley suits him... and that's the worrying bit.

Looks like loads of fun but he would ease off the throttle rather than play seesaw with the steering! Looks like balls out fun though, gotta love rednecks and ******, they know how to have raw mean fun.
 

On impact, the driver seems to bounce from one side then back across and out the drivers (its LHD I think) window!!! :eek:

If you look 3 seconds into the film you can see the trucker sliding from drivers side across the cab and out the window in a blink of an eye :eek:

I bet he wears his seat belt these days....... ;)
