Motors YouTube Videos

nope (you wouldn't hear the engine note change so much if I did) just more rear end grip than you get on the bike - working on a home made fully electronic shift system with cut & blip, as currently it's all manual - should be fitted soon :)

Sounds good, I was going to ask did it have an electronic system too but thats my question answered, yea fair point more weight and traction :p

Yeah it uses rather industrial push pull cable that connects from the gear shifter right up to the paddles, far too much play for positive shifting!

anyway, I digress - back to the videos!

Proof, if it were ever in doubt that:

1) Chevy small blocks are awesome

2) Estates are awesome

3) The combination of the above is awesome :D

And just listen to that noise

I fail to see the comparison? 650hp vs 480hp. I'm not surprised it won but more surprised it only just edged the 911 with 170hp more...

I think it's more a demonstration of the tuners capacity to turn a wagon into something formidable.

It's not supposed to be some kind of direct comparison as far as I can see.

i reckon my mondeo would have a chance with drag tyres

The comments say (dangerous trusting that obviously) running on stock PS2's the V will do a 12 second run at 122mph, 0.2 slower than that Porsche.

The 911 has a real gearbox (Either manual or PDK, doesn't matter, both will be better than the V's slushmatic). Its also 25% lighter and has 4WD to put all that power down. Its closer than the pure power figures make it seem :)

Then look at the prices. A new CTS-V will set you back $65k without ticking too many boxes, then add the V650 tuning kit for ~$15k. A stock Turbo runs to $136k before options

This is why I like it, then again I love most things Hennessey do. The VelociRaptor, Venom GT and CTS-V are all totally unnecessary and total awesome as a result :D
