Motorsport Off Topic Thread

Will probably be melted down or stuck in a house somewhere.

A chap I know was working in MK and found himself near the RB factory, and ended up being able to walk into reception (where the big display is) completely unchallenged, which I found a little odd.

This is the same guy though that managed to wander into the paddock on race day at British Superbikes one year and basically be treated as a team member, hospitality and all, because he had replica team kit on :p

They allow you to walk in to the redbull factory reception, all your going to see is trophies and a car hanging on the wall. Its not like your getting walked around the factory. Also its still a business, and vistors are expected, should they not be expected to use the front door?

The fact that you didnt get challenged is probaly due to the fact that its quite normal for the fans to pop down, so its not an unusual event any longer.

I expect he has renegotiated his contract based on his performances. Apparently Alonso did the same thing last year. So it will be a new contract, as opposed to just an extension.

I just thought it was unusual as I'm pretty sure you can't just "pop in" to somewhere like Mclaren or Ferrari without there at least being a security post to get past on the drive in.

Even a midfield team like Force India has a security guy at the main entrance. I know as I took a wrong turn going to Silverstone one year :o

Could be from the Fire Dept.

It was set she hit the rear loading lift on the back of a lorry if i remember right so could be where she hit that?... If so
