He speaks his mind and was a bloody good racer especially at Le Mans. His stints in the Toyota TS010 in 1993 are one of my best memories of Le Mans.....

Hmm. I've never watched much WRC but would like to, seeing as I'm finding it harder to enjoy F1. So unless I fork out for BT Sport which, with the amount of footie and now motorsport they'll have, is making more sense, I'll have to stick with highlights on ITV4. Or Motors TV; not sure if I get that.

Gary the Pub is leaving the BBC...wonder if Sky have poached him? Odd move if it's on the BBCs terms with the changes for 2014 no doubt needing some explanation to the viewer, maybe they will get the Cbeebies lot to do it

Aww, he was, rather surprisingly, one of the highlights of the BBC team. I was expecting quite a dull, unmotivated lump of dumbed-down nonsense, but he was way more insightful than I expected. Despite his back-of-an-old-fag-packet approach.
I think he and Kravitz could be a good mix. Kravitz has a good eye for changes, but, unsurprisingly Anderson is better at the more technical explanations. I'd be quite happy for the two of them to wander around the paddock together for the notebook.
All that said, he could just be off to pastures new. I'd imagine wandering around an F1 paddock could get quite boring for someone so used to being central to it. There's plenty of room for technical directors and aerodynamicists in other areas of motorsport.
