Cheers guys. I will update the list. I think V8 Supercars and Le Mans are safe enough to assume.

Anyone got any other series they want to add? Going to see if I can find an easy way to get the minor national series in as they tend to be part of magazine programs rather than shows in their own right.

Putting series available Live in italics.

Well they need to hurry up, the Monte is in less than 2 weeks time. Possibility for WRC to go with no TV coverage? Would kind of sum up the state the series is in really :(

JRS, do you know what channel and type of coverage NASCAR is on in the UK this year?

ever diminishing BTCC

I'm sorry, but what?

2011 saw the highest number of manufacturers and highest number of cars ever on a BTCC grid. The 3 live races and full coverage of all support races in a 6+ hour long program every race sunday is the best coverage the sport has ever had, and is better than a lot of other World series. And the last few seasons have been epically close right to the end!

I didn't know they did show it. I will see if I can find it confirmed anywhere. I will at it to the unconfirmed list at least.

Edit: Nothing to suggest it wont be shown on Sky like before, so I will add it under that.

Whole Grand Am season will be shown live on Motors TV starting with the Daytona 24hrs on Jan 28th - 29th

Cheers, I'll add it.

Have they said if they going to be showing adverts in during the qualifying session/actual race on the F1 channel on sky?

Yes for Quali, but in the breaks between sessions (as thats what they are designed for). No adverts during the race (for 2012 at least).

Would be great. Only issue would be showing everything live, as some of the support races run at the same time as build up or post session analysis for the F1 program.

But having F1, GP2 and GP3 on the same channel would be great.

The problem with the BTCC now is one of car snobbery.

I know plenty of people who don't watch it because 'its just full of hatchbacks'.

But if you ignore that and just watch the racing, its brilliant. Its always nose to tail stuff, plenty of overtaking, and the coverage of the whole weekend including all the support races that ITV4 do is simply brilliant.

I suggest you find a sunday when you aren't doing much and stick it on. Its 6 solid hours of racing.

Added the Blancpain Endurance Series which includes the Nurburgring 24 hours. God I can't wait to get MotorsTV

And MissCheif, you have combined bits of 2010 with bits of 2011 and bits completely made up about the BTCC.

From someone who barely watches NASCAR, what makes the trucks good?

Added the trucks to the list too. Anyone know any news on some of the ones currently sat in the unconfirmed list?

I think a single NASCAR thread would get enough interest to keep it going. Make sure you put 'Official' and lots of stars in the title though, otherwise it doesn't count :p
