Motorsport on TV in 2012

Quite how an FIA president who was the team manager of a championship winning team and co-driver in the arc and ex multiple F1 world championship team manager could let something like this happen is beyond me. No TV means no sponsors. Manufacturers won't pay for of if there's no sponsors sharing the costs and no TV. Of course it doesn't help that the sport is being completely dominated either.

Still ******* at F1 being on Sky. But anyway is F1 going to catch up with the rest of the world this year and be in HD? And will the BBC (for their 10 races) be in HD?

Will be on Sky.

Don't see why it shouldn't on the BBC either, it was last year.. not sure what you've been watching.

F1 has been filmed in HD for many years, and broadcast in it since the end of 2010. The BBC coverage will be in both SD and HD again, and so will the new Sky Sports F1 channel.
