Motorway Traffic Cops

I don't think they have an issue with spare tyres.

hahah :D I thought the fat one was a bloke at first :o

That was disgraceful of the polish wagon, how can you not know it's a Single lane carrige way :confued: Should make them pass a test on the road system here or an English test so they know what the signs mean.

motorcyclist didnt look very well at all tbh :(

Generally found this quite a poor episode - they spent a lot of explaining that driving without insurance was illegal :o

I dont understand why he got a £250 fine for driving without insurnace yet the doctor got a £600 fine for doing 100mph in a well maintained car

To be fair, the doctor deserved every bit of that £600 fine. 100mph + with the child running around in the back seat is just ludicrous. The guy driving without insurance deserved a hell of a lot more than a £250 fine.

And WTF was it with that traffic cop's voice? The older guy. It really got on my ****.

He wasnt reported for the child though as as far as the magistrate was concerned it was a straight 101mph on the Motorway affair.

Ahh right. He should have been reported for that though. Any parent that gave a crap, especially a supposedly educated doctor, would not drive at 100mph with their child strapped into a child seat never mind with it running around free on the back seat.

I think it was more his attitude about it that makes me think he deserved the fine. It was like he didn't think the child was his responsibility and he hardly looked like a doctor that was on a call with his wife and kid in the back. Blatantly lying and just made it look like (to me anyway) that he felt like it was his right to go at that speed.

100mph is a magic number - go over that and its either a ban and small fine, or 6 points and a big fine - he probably got the choice! I generally enjoy shows like this but it does highlight the fact that the law isnt really to consistant when handing out punishments.

Also if you are talking about the french guy - the whole incident probably would have cost a lot more than £250? They took his car and IIRC they will only return it when you show valid insurance - so someone would have had to pay for that or the car gets crushed?
