Mountain Biking

I was disappointed going to carbon wheels couldn't tell the difference it was only once I changed to much lighter tyres knocking off almost 1kg that it made a notable difference (went from DH casing to trail tyres). What was very noticeable was the higher engaging hub on technical climbs much better so worth it for that but if I was to do it again I'd stick with DT Swiss aluminium FR rims.
I already use Tail casings.
It's just one of those things I've wanted to try for a long time I need to get it out of my system.
My 481 will become my DH wheels.

Think I might have to sell a bike. I tend to just hold on to them forever until barely worth anything. But I could really use the space. :(

We need a bike members market! :)

I know that all too well. I’ve got a bike I’ve not used since July and one I’ve not used since possibly the September before that..

I have mine down to two now, hardtail for blasting around the local trails and winter riding. Full sus for special days out or dry weather local stuff.

deja vu there!

Thats how I ended up with my first bike.

Been tempted to sell mine recently, but I know once summer comes I'll miss it.

I have a Hybrid non electric which I tend to use for grocery runs (chill and slow riding 2.5 mile each way) or casual greenway rides and an EMTB hardtail for bike parks and trails, the latter might get sold somewhere down the line for a full suspension EMTB though

off to Dalby forest on the 20th and hired a full Sus EMTB for a day looking forward to trying it out

I would but this forum is just pants for pictures. Especially via mobile.
That's a fair point.

The little man has outgrown his current bike (could only leave him looking like he was riding a clown bike for so long) so we have just been and sorted his replacement, pick it up later in the week.

The junior Marin line up is really impressive.
