Mourinho Sacked

5pts off top 4 place, football really is a joke now.

Football is a money game. They are petrified about losing Kane/Son in the summer and if Mourinho stays that becomes more and more likely. Once a players head is turned...

Considering we are a week away from their final and only have a month or so of the season left they are clearly desperate to get rid of him.

There is no way Mourinho will have walked just before he could have added another trophy to his cabinet.

Was thinking this was gonna be a LVG all over again (during the final rumours he had been fired were already flying around), but Spurs did it early.

Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy hahaha - it was only a matter of time and surprised it lasted even this long to be honest.

Well at least City have the consolation of a guaranteed cup now after failing to get into the FAC final (what a dismal game that was on Sat lol), esp if Kane isnt fit.

JM will get another job - he always manages it somehow Im not sure why given his failures in recent years (even the minor successes at Utd was with pretty awful football most of the time)

too little too late imo from the outside at least - its going to make very little difference in the league with so few games left (depending on Kane's fitness of course, but looks like yet another ankle injury) - and even the dreary City of the FA semi would get past Spurs even on top form

edit - they have got pretty favourable league games with only LC on the last day looking difficult (but a few of them could be severe banana peels at the very least

IF they had done it during the int break it would have made such a big difference

Hope spurs lose son and kane. Joke of a football club, as if the breakaway announcement wasn't enough, they then sack the manager ahead of a cup final.

If it is true that it is partially his objection to the new super league then I have to hand it to him by standing by his principles. Yet again he could have just used it as an excuse to get sacked for something completely irrelevant to his performances.

I doubt Kane and Son will leave. This has played into Levy's hands fantastically. He can basically keep Kane on the promise of this new super league rubbish plus none of the big clubs will spend this summer with the uncertainty of everything.

I don't think they are doing it to try and improve results and get top 4. I think they are doing it to try and reassure Kane and Son et al that Mourinho isn't in the clubs plans and that they are far more important to Spurs.

How dare you suggest such a thing!

They will both want to win something in their careers at some point. The SL isn't going to give them any better chance of doing that. They need to move clubs.

Given Kane's rediculously long contract recently - I cant see many people even trying for a year at least possibly two although potentially he is just that little bit too old for a huge move (especially with constant ankle injuries )

I would put it past JM to force the situation onto something else entirely - this is what he does after every game anyway after all!!! :)

Don't see it myself. None of the players will be interested once the realisation of not being able to play for your country and any other competitons hits home.

Kane will be definitely be off this summer
