It is sounding like he has been sacked in relation to the SL stuff though. I'm still not 100% that this is a moralistic stance but still. Drama!

It is Tottenham Hotspur. They have no right to automatically be top 4 just because they have new stadium. Outside Kane and Son the team is bang average. Spurs are at their level.

Not sure I agree with that. By that logic we are bang average everywhere. They still have a fair whack of the team that nearly won the CL a few years ago. They just don't have the right manager and are in the classic Mourinho pre-sacking slump.

Even if he just "went mental at Levy over the super league" Mourinho is a clever man, probably getting out while looking like some kind of hero rather than being sacked for failing to meet targets in a few weeks.

Of course he would've wanted to win it, but they haven't won in last 3 games including Newcastle what chance do they stand against City. They have 1 win in 6 going into the final.

He also has all the money he could ever need, and I get the impression his proudest moment remains winning the CL with Porto. He may actually be standing up for his beliefs here.

what? A couple of weeks ago, Levy said Mourinho was staying for another year no matter what happened.

So that makes no sense at all
