Mouse mat

I have an ocuk one on my test bench PC setup. It is good but it's just plain black and shows dust or other stuff really easily which can be annoying. A world map is more interesting :p

Otherwise the quality between them is identical.
Totally agree on the dust showing, now I need to clean more lol I think a blue OCUK would look better.

I bought my OcUK Mega Mat 3XL back in 2018 and am still using it to this day. I'll echo the comments about visible dust, but a weekly clean or wipe down will manage that. I take it outside every now and then to give it a wash and rinse down.

Still in great condition and showing no dips or sheen in heavily used areas. Would definitely buy one again.

I have 2x artisan hien mats. Kinda tempted to try a glass pad, but worried it'll be too fast.
Did you see Optimum's video on one yesterday? I'm really tempted by it but the whole 'wearing an arm sleeve' is what puts me off. My wife already thinks I'm a massive dork, that'll send her over the edge.

If you are willing to have a punt - you can find "NEDIS glass pad" for pretty cheap to give you a taste of all the disadvantages (sweat/dust/stopping). The original Superglide XL is bit faster and more consistent than that.

I saw it and it tempted me. I already wear a sleeve due to being unnaturally hairy under my wrists! I like the idea of a non absorbent pad, just a little concerned at the speed.

Always been tempted by a glass pad as well but feel like I would need to spend a lot of time trying to get the right mouse feet to work with it. I've heard of people struggling to even click Windows menu options due to the lack of friction.
