Mouse Stuttering Problem from hell:(

Well i've tried a couple more things. First of all I have now tried EVERY single available nvidia driver on the website and they all made bugger all difference.
Second I took delivery of a new G5 mouse (thanks overclockers). This new mouse has the option to enhance poll settings so after playing around I have this set to 1000 which does actually help a little bit on the source games.
Everything else still judders as before.
Looks like i'm now getting to the stage where my only option is getting a new card. Annoying really as I don't think i really needed to upgrade yet:(
 
Finally got round to replacing the GPU today. I've gone for an ATI 5870. New tech and different company with different drivers.
Guess what...still juddering.
My only next logical move is to get off the socket i'm on completely. Now pondering over getting a gigabyte board and slapping in an amd chip. Things are getting to desperate stakes now:(
