Movies you love so much that...

Good Will Hunting - perhaps a bit schmaltzy but I've always loved it and think the dialogue in particular is very well written.

Faceoff, Transformers, Star Wars, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Full Metal Jacket, Garden State, Starship Troopers.

There are more.

Seriously, JC can at least direct, Boll couldnt even direct traffic...well he could be there would be a body count rivaling Rambo movies.

I was only messing...he was the first "bad" director to pop into my head. My problem with a lot of JC's work is the soundtracks he uses.

I'd also have to say that when Toy Story first came out, a lot of older people were saying it didn't have the charm or imagination of traditional cell animation, I had many an argument about that.

Weird that, my parents absolutely loved it.

Big Trouble in Little China, anyone who hates that movie deserves a punch, come to think of it, if you dislike any John Carpenter movie you must be burned at the stake!

I love Big Trouble in Little China, it's between that and Escape from New York for Kurt Russell's best film.

'Yessir, I paid my dues...the cheque is in the mail!'

Classic:D

Requiem for a Dream. I just don't think many people get the movie.

<3

I'm not sure what I'm failing to get about it but I can't say I found it all that great a film - depressing certainly, thought provoking probably and somewhat sordid. Or is that all there was to 'get' from it?

The Blues Brothers, how anyone cannot like that film is beyond me. Hell, apart from the duo themselves it has Princess Leia with a rocket launcher and a M16! :p

I don't get annoyed when people don't like these films, I understand that people have different tastes but I do have to admit that I slightly recalibrate where I place their opinions. If someone says to me they don't like either of them I'll be a lot more wary of what they do like.

Oh and I really regret that there is a Blues Brothers 2000, I've so far refused to watch it, maybe if I don't acknowledge it any further it'll go away.
