Raises hand/

Patrick Stewart hinted he had some recent talks and from what they said there still 3, maybe 4 or 5 years away from Trek 10.

So its quite possible the early chatter about a prequel involving films set after enterprise were just rumour/early plots.

I feel they should go for it one last time with one big bang and hand it over to the next crew of the Enterprise.

I read somewhere that Johnathon Frakes the director (also plays Riker), stated that the script still has not been started for movie number 10. Apparently a couple of next generation members were reluctant to do it as they were getting to old now.

Last i heard was that Trek 10 would feature Archer, Kirk, and Picard in some kind of mirror universe crossover story, which if done properly would be excellent. But if done badly would look like a poor version of generations.

So there are two Trek films coming out? I thought one is due for '07 which come after Enterprise and covers the first war between the Federation and the Romulan Empire. But if there are two that would be very cool indeed. :D

Don't you mean Star Trek 11 (or XI) ???...

1. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
2. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan
3. Star Trek III: The Search For Spock
4. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
5. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
6. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
7. Star Trek VII: Generations
8. Star Trek VIII: First Contact
9. Star Trek IX: Insurrection
10. Star Trek X: Nemesis

The Roumers I've heard was its a Brand New Crew set between Archer and Kirk... Possibly 'Cpt Chirstopher Pike' (Original Series Pilot Captain!!) Involving the Romulan/Federation War!...

Levar Burton(Geordai le Forge) said something like "if they make another trek film this decade, im gonna climb to the top of the studio towers and star taking pop shots with a sniper rifle" at one of those fanboy conventions

Off the top of my head...

MI:3
X-Men 3
Da Vinci Code
A Scanner Darkly (forgot all about it until Melchy said)
Jarhead
Miami Vice
V for Vendetta
Casino Royale (if its out this year)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

and there's probably a few more i've forgot about as well, seems like it could be a good year for movies. :)

Joy Division movie and music in 2006?
Director and photographer Anton Corbijn - renowned for his work with Depeche Mode - has asked the legendary Manchester four-piece to contribute material for the film "Control".
The movie, based upon the book "Touching From a Distance" by Curtis' widow Deborah, account of the life and tragic death of Ian Curtis told from Deborah's perspective. New Order will be making the music for it and they will, according to NME, use the name Joy Division.
Not much else is known about the movie at this time, Corbijn will direct and Deborah Curtis not only provides the base for the script but will also be involved as a co-producer and two-time Academy Award nominee Samantha Morton will be playing Mrs Curtis.
