Hi chaps,
My contract is due to end soon, and I do not want to be locked down to a 24 month contract.
I'm open minded to whether I should go to a pay monthly sim only type of contract or do I just go PAYG.
My usage is mainly data, with a fair few texts, call time isn't that important to me (i.e. 100 minutes is more than enough).
The only "issue" of course, is getting a handset, but I don't mind paying upfront for a handset, it'll be insured, and you end up paying for it on your contract anyway.
Now, I know at the end of my contract I can tell them to move me onto a PAYG only - then I can wait and see if any new phones come out.
However, presumably as long as I get the PAC I can then switch to any network and retain my number whenever I'm ready to jump ship.
Which would you recommend, sim only deal or PAYG? Which is less hassle? I'm looking at paying anything between £10-£15 a month, but ideally would like to be on a 4G network. Which of the few 4G networks is worth looking at? I'm hoping to move away from O2 if that helps
