Evening all
I have started to realize that as time goes on, we are leaving hard drives behind, so my question is, what do i do?
Here is my plan of attack at the moment, happy to recieve advice about this however...
For my operating system (Windows 7 Ultimate) i am going to get a Samsung 850 EVO Series mSATA 500GB SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive, as this will mean a fast boot time as well as a fast operating system.
(Msata in question)

Now im stuck on weather to put all of my programs on the Msata as well or then get a Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive and put all of my programs on that?
mainly so the operating system is on its own, but then that also means 500GB is overkill for just the operating system.
(SSD in question)

Now the next part is i have a large collection of games, steam and other things game related that i need to transfer, the question for this is do i get another Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive just for games as i have just under 300GB of game data at the moment?

Finally, i have a large collection of music as well as films and files, around 800GB, for this i was going to get the Samsung 1.0TB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive, as its large enough and also very fast, as all others are.

So what you might be able to see is that im trying to get rid of hard drives all together, as they are slow and also transfer a lot of heat into my system, this is not good, as i want to keep my system cool
What is peoples advice for this as i want to go the SSD route and not look back?
i note to think on, im a games design student, using 3D design and modeling programs, i do a lot of 4K and 1080p video work, these are some of the things that need to have fast read and write speeds for.
Many thanks
